The role:

Ø  Installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of large heterogeneous UNIX/Solaris infrastructure

Ø  Assist the team in daily operations and maintenance of the infrastructure (systems, servers, storage, etc.)

Ø  Incident handling, problem handling (with respect of targeted resolution times)

Ø  System operation and configuration

Ø  System monitoring and reporting

IT Expertise:

Ø  3 years minimum

IT Competencies:

Ø  Experience of Solaris 8, 9 and 10. Additionally, the candidate should know how to deal with Jumpstart, LiveUpgrade, CVS or SVN and cfengine

Ø  Good knowledge of Sun cluster 3.1 and Veritas Volume Manager 4.1 (Sun Cluster 3.2 and Veritas VM 5.0 would be considered as an advantage)

Ø  Oracle knowledge would be fine

Ø  Experience on administrating machines ranging from v210s up to E25ks (ideally)

Ø  Experience of Storage (SAN - Hitachi/HDS) is also an asset
