REVOLUTIONS: Fitting mixed models

A Stunningly Important piece of Intellectual Capital, posted in the public domain! I suppose it was in the public domain anyway but just not very "public", one has to wonder with this Open Source thing, when is one giving away for free that IP which could be one's livelihood? Its an argument which one can have until the cows come home, I suppose but that does not diminish the value of what REvolution are providing here, from the pen of the honourable David Smith, this is a link to a step by step guide as to how to implement the all-important mixed model (arguably the very core of default estimation in credit risk and thus the absoloute foundation of economic risk capital 'predicition'). You can't say fairer than that, I hope you can handle insect disease?
