David is the Director responsible for the international management of Siag Risk Management, the advanced ultra high performance Tier 1 risk technology development and risk management consulting organisation headquartered in Madrid. David’s responsibilities include the management of Siag’s international network of alliance partners, including Asymptotix, with whom he works closely alongside John Morrison on next generation system and methodology development.

Prior to joining Siag, David was CEO of European subsidiaries of a global healthcare multinational, and a Director of its UK PLC, active for 8 years internationally in all areas of corporate development leadership working in Europe, the USA and Latam. David was also leading development of this sector as a member of professional associations such as FENIN, serving on management boards to drive forward sector quality standards.

20 years of senior leadership prior to joining the healthcare sector leading the design, management and implementation of high value complex engineering projects, David established the trust of many blue chip clients serving as a Director of several British companies. David developed long term working alliances with leading specifiers and distribution channels, developing new business models within the contracting industry, and serving at senior level in national professional associations.

Originally serving a commercial apprenticeship in Lucas Aerospace, and then further trained with a Chartered Surveyor, David has always worked in highly professional sectors, not only leading and developing established business models and practices, but also driving forward quality and professional standards. David has also been a Fellow of the ISMM for the last 30 years.

In his private life David is a keen pilot having been a former British National Helicopter Champion, and runs a private recording studio where he composes classical music, having as a top young musician in his teens won both a scholarship to Winchester Royal Academy of Music under the tutilage of the LSO, and a coveted place on the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
